Riverside B was designed with Riverside A on a riverfront property in the heart of Mosman Park. The brief called for two separate homes on the single site maximising views across the river to Blackwall Reach.

Built into the natural contours and limestone outcrop of the steep site, Riverside B sits at the top of the site and maintains street frontage. Charcoal metal cladding contrasts with the classic white render, emphasising the simple form and commanding a bold presence on the quiet street. The entry level accommodates open plan living, kitchen and dining spaces and an outdoor terrace, optimising the outlook toward the dramatic backdrop of the Swan River. Bedrooms are located on the upper level, allowing a greater level of privacy and each with a river view. A considered palette of materials  – textured plaster, zincalume, steel, timber and metal cladding – as well as natural light and cross ventilation create modern and refined spaces.
