Inspired by the container yards he once explored as a photographer, the client’s brief for this project was a unique one. We were asked to translate those memories into two separate houses on adjacent blocks abutting Stirling Highway, incorporating shipping containers into the design. We developed a scheme for both sites which responded to the industrial aesthetic of the Dingo Flour Mills directly opposite and to the port city of Fremantle.
